Itinerary

Day 1-3 Southern Serengeti

Your adventure begins as you arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, clear customs, and take a short transit flight to the domestic terminal for the journey to Mwiba airstrip. Depending on your flight timing, an overnight stay in Arusha may be necessary; reach out to us for options.

Upon arrival at Mwiba airstrip, meet your safari guide and private vehicle, and transfer to the migration camp. Your 3-night stay at Nyasi includes all meals, selected beverages, and laundry service. Consult with your guide to plan your days, considering your preferences, weather conditions, and animal activity.

Wildebeest herds pass right outside your tent, following their age-old migratory path. These herds create the iconic Great Migration, traveling endlessly from the southern Serengeti in Tanzania to the northwest near the mighty Mara River, and back again. Get ready for the thrill of being close to nature.

Day 4-5 Southern Serengeti

After breakfast, embark on a game drive to the lodge. Mwiba Lodge offers a luxurious retreat with stunning views of the plains.

Perched atop colossal stone boulders, Mwiba Lodge is surrounded by ancient coral trees and acacias, overlooking a rocky gorge along the Arugusinyai River. Vast, vibrant landscapes await your exploration—lush with plant life, freshwater springs, and diverse wildlife. The main lodge features open living spaces, a rejuvenating spa and gym, and a carefully curated wine cellar. An expansive pool rests on a rocky outcrop, offering views of natural springs below where local wildlife frequently congregates.

Throughout your stay, you’ll have a private vehicle and guide to customize your game viewing experience. Night drives and cultural visits to local tribes are also possibilities. The area is teeming with unique wildlife and endangered species, including abundant great cats, elephants, greater kudus, and wild dogs.

Day 6 – End of Itinerary

Following breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Kilimanjaro Airport. Enjoy some leisure time until your departure flight home, or extend your safari with a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater, embark on a gorilla trekking adventure, or unwind with a beach getaway.
